Had a water line rupture @ home shut-off valve (after the meter) here on the island in Surf City. House full of kids and renters coming in 48 hours. 3PM, called 5-6 local plumbers. All of them booked out till next week. Left a message with Mark and he texted me back in a few minutes. Asked me to send him pixs of break.

He didn't have any immediate availability and would get to me in the next 24-36 hours. I laid-out my predicament and he called back in 10 mins. Said he would get me a plumber in about an hour.

45 mins later his guy showed up with the right parts, knocked it out and was on his way. Crisis averted! Really couldn't be happier.

My hot water went out. I had no idea how to figure out the issue and my husband is deployed so I called three places. The first two just told me it would be $85 to come to my house and take a look. I then decided to call just one more to compare another cost and called Seaside and left a message.

Mark Harrell not only called me back after 6pm... he talked to me through a little troubleshooting and then told me how to “reset” my unit. He said to try that stuff first and if I didn’t have hot water back in an hour to call back and I could book them to come out. Well my hot water worked an hour later! And it has worked since then.

Mark was so kind and saved me a chunk of money from having someone come out just to look at it when there wasn’t even a problem. He not only called me back after hours and was patient and friendly, so helpful. I may not have ended up needing actual service this time...but I’ll def be calling him back the next time something happen!

Recently we needed a plumber for a small bath redo, adding a second sink to our existing single in our master bathroom. I called Seaside Plumbing and spoke with Mark, the owner. He came out the following morning to look at the job, sent me a fair quote that evening and the job was scheduled within a few days.

His helpers were both polite and courteous, they removed the needed drywall, installed the pipes and cleaned the mess leaving my bathroom looking almost as if they were never there! I was impressed! Once the new cabinets were installed they were back to finish the job.

Sadly, one of the new faucets I purchased was defective so the job couldn't be completed that day. I appreciated their honestly by not didn't just trying to patch the faulty valve but telling me it was a manufacturing defect and that the item should be returned for another one. I exchanged the part and they were back the next day to complete the job.

It was a great experience start to finish and I highly recommend them!

I'm so grateful I called Seaside Plumbers 15 years ago for a clogged toilet. Mark found that my toddler girl tried to flush a bar of soap. He has been my plumber ever since.

He always understood my active household with kids and family and guests coming and going. And I can always count on Seaside Plumbing to recommend going the way that makes the most sense. They even came out and replaced my water heater while I was out of town.

I wish I could find other contractors I can rely on like I rely on Seaside Plumbing.
